FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do you keep track of which strawberries are organic and which ones are not?

We grow our Organic berries and Regular berries in different fields. Additionally we keep strict control by using different boxes when we pick them. We use two different colors for boxes one is strictly for organic and the other one is for regular. In the rare case we are not able to have different colored boxes we buy the boxes from different packaging companies, although they may look similar in color they have different designs on them, and we have a meeting with everyone who will handle the berries to make absolutely sure that everyone knows which one is organic and with one is not. Over 99% of the time we will have completely different colored boxes, so it is easy for everyone to know the difference, and the colors we use are standardized within our farm so it will not vary. After we pick the berries from the fields we have clearly labeled were the organic berries will be stored and were the regular ones will be stored as well.
